The Honolulu Jazz Quartet backs visiting New York trombone player Jack Davis. Jack grew up in Honolulu and moved to New York soon after graduation to become a steady and successful player in the Big Apple. He returns to show us what he assimilated. Hawaii's best jazz quartet includes leader and bassist John Kolivas, pianist Dan Del Negro, tenor and soprano sax player Tim Tsukiyama, and drummer von Baron. I've seen some of the playlist and you're gonna love it.
