Mike Lewis and friends pay tribute to the late Jimi Hendrix.

One of the most influential guitarists ever, Jimi Hendrix began playing as a teenager after his father bought him an electric guitar for his 17th birthday. After being honorably discharged from the army Jimi began session musicain work Little Richard, B.B. King, Sam Cooke and the Isley Brothers. He would soon form the Jimi Hendrix Experience wowing audiences with his unbelievable musicainship.

Mike Lewis has spent substantial time performing in Polynesia and the tri-state New York area, Mike Lewis has recently moved back to Hawaii after touring and recording with Buddy Rich, Sarah Vaughn, Sammy Davis, Wynton Marsalis, Sonny and Cher, Billy Joel, Natalie Cole, Rosemary Clooney, The Temptations, Tony Bennett, Gladys Knight, and Bruno Mars.

Sonny Silva and friends at a great jazz bistro.. Good wine and light foods available.. Duane Padilla is there as much or more than I am.. We also have the usual suspects showing up.. Gypsy jazz and straight ahead.. Guitar and Violin.. and whatever else pops up... Great times.
