Sunday, May 5, 2019
Dinner at 5:30 pm, Concert Starts at 6:30 pm

Please join us for a unique opportunity to enjoy classical piano music in an intimate and beautiful restaurant setting! Sip a glass of chardonnay or pinot noir during the concert. Talk to the performers afterward and discuss the merits of classical vs. jazz!

The young creative genius at the piano, Grant Carvalho, will be performing a solo piano recital, uniquely combining his superb classical piano background (he has a master's in piano performance) and his prodigious improvisational skills (he also has his degree in composition). The combination of this is entitled "Classical Gassed," and is featured as part of Medici's classical chamber music series.

If you have never heard Grant perform before, you must do so before he ends up making his name on the mainland, because this Hawaii-grown talent will blow your mind with his sounds, creativity and considerable technique at the piano.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser recently hailed him as "perhaps the most exciting young talent on Honolulu's piano jazz scene today."

$20 in advance / $25 at the door

Medici's Famous Soup & Salad Buffet will be served from 5:30-6:30, but will be closed during the concert. Wine, beer, and well drinks will be available at the bar.

Few artists have accomplished what Dionne Warwick has. She's dominated charts across the world, received five GRAMMY® Awards and sold over 25 million records. With the help of songwriting partners Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick ranks second only to Aretha Franklin as the most charted female vocalist in history, with classic recordings like "Walk On By," "Say a Little Prayer," and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again."

Don't miss Dionne Warwick in the intimate setting of the Blue Note!
